Unfortunately, I don't know Bob's final resting place.

Robert E. Roth, Sr., born in March of 1942, passed away on September 13th at his home, in Fairview Park, OH, at the age of 78, with his loving wife, of 57 years, and son by his side. Robert was a kind and caring husband, father and friend to all who were blessed to know him. He possessed an extremely gentle soul and thoughtfulness that inspired others to want to be better. Robert married Bertha F. Bays, in 1963, and they remained one of the most amazing and loving couples for the next 57 years. Having never left each other's side, and enjoying a beautiful and full life, they brought two incredible boys into the world, in 1964 (Robert) and 1968 (David). They were pure joy for Robert and Bertha and they made their loving home in Lakewood, OH, for much of their children's adolescent years.

Robert retired in 2002, and seamlessly transitioned over the years from shirt and tie guy, to jogging pants guy, effortlessly and soon seemed at ease with his new retirement lifestyle. Always involved, always willing to help, always willing to give... my dad did far more with what he had, than any person I've ever met. He loved going on long drives through the metroparks, working in the yard, cheering on the Browns, spending time with his family and visiting (and making friends at) just about every coffee and donut shop on the west side, during his retirement years. The waitresses and other staff used to so look forward to my dad walking in every morning to brighten their day! I learned countless valuable lessons from my dad throughout his amazing life, the best among them: Always make a positive impression on every single person you meet and leave them feeling special. Bertha was his guiding light, for over half a century, but more profoundly the last few years. She was his rock. I've never met two people more in love and more devoted and perfect for each other, than Robert & Bertha. Today, the world is just a little bit less than it was a day earlier. He will be so missed, but his inspiration will live on forever. Dad, you always made me want to be a better person. The world is better because you were a part of it for 78 years. I will miss you so much. I love you! http://robertroth.forevermissed.com
