DROPSY CAUSED DEATH

Further particulars were received
Thursday regarding the death of
Oliver Green Lilly, 60, who died
Wednesday morning at his home
southwest of Elwood. Death was due
to dropsical complications from
which he had been suffering for
some time. The deceased was a native
of Tipton county having been
born in Madison Township 60 years
ago and was the youngest of eight
ohildren born to Green and Sarah E.
(Wright) Lilly, pioneers of that
Township. One brother, Joseph A.
Lilly resides southeast of Tipton.

Mr. Lilly resided In Tipton county
for many years and has a large ac-
quaintance to the county and his
death was a shock to the many
friends of the family. The deceased
united in marriage to Miss Teresa
Walsh of this county, a sister of
Mrs. C. E. McAvoy of East Jefferson
street and she and one foster daughter, Grace
survive.

Funeral services will be conducted
at the St. Joseph church In Elwood
Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock Rev.
E. Beigel officiating and burial will
be in the Catholic cemetery in Tipton.
