Regina Frances (Bournes) Reeves was born February 17, 1944, to William Gene and Francis Fountain Bournes in East Beckley West Virginia. At age 77, she passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, in Buckeye Arizona.
Regina attended and graduated from Stratton High School Class of 1961, followed by some college courses at Marshall University.
On January 31, 1964, in Rockville, Maryland, Regina married her soulmate, Elwyn Nathaniel Reeves. After working for the Veterans Administration Regina and Elwyn moved to San Diego, CA in 1976. Regina became a notary public and was also an Insurance Account Manager for Barney and Barney Insurance Company located in La Jolla, California. Regina traveled around the world with her husband and with the Veterans Administration International Traveling Choir.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Francis Bournes.
Regina is survived by her loving spouse of 57 years, Elwyn Nathaniel Reeves; four children: daughters, Vanessa Renee Laplant and spouse Guy, Andrea Lauderdale and spouse Marty, Kelly Reeves Gamache and spouse Brian, and son, John Elwyn Reeves; eight grandchildren, Allen, Raven, Matthew, Cianna, Lexi, Mariyah, Naiah and Chazz. four great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Max, Leo and Lennox; two brothers, William "Freddie" Bournes and Phillip Larry Bournes and many other extended loving family and friends.
