Helen Joyce Boyd age 86 of Inverness Township passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2021. She was born January 8, 1935 in Detroit to Robert and Georgianna (Gardner) Sacker. On August 7, 1954 she married Robert Boyd in Detroit.
Helen is survived by: four children, Robert Boyd of Indian River, Christopher (Karen Serra) Boyd of Cheboygan, Lynda (Dean) Rocheleau of West Bloomfield, and Lawrence (Karen) Boyd of Traverse City; seven grandchildren, April Gustafson, Nicole (Jay) Broderick, Robert Boyd, Charles "Chase" Rocheleau, Katelyn Rocheleau, Patrick Rocheleau, and Lawrence H. Boyd; four great grandchildren, Luke and Dylan Broderick, Jenny (Tim) Tomblin and Mason Boyd; and one great-great granddaughter, Everly.
Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandson, Eric Gustafson; two sisters, JoAnn Coon and Robin Rauch; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Boyd.
