Ray Lee Johnson, age 80 of Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, October 30th at Assurant Hospice in Cartersville.

Ray was born on October 5, 1941, in Calhoun, to the late Ovell Boyce Johnson, and Margie Starnes Johnson. He is veteran of the United States Army. Once he returned from his time in the Army, Ray begins his career in the textile industry. He attended Crane Eater Community Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two daughters, Vickie Baker, and Shirley Caldwell; a brother, Jerry Johnson; son-in-law, Junior Logan.

He is survived by a son, Tommy Davidson and his wife Patsy, daughter, Patty Logan, son-in-law, Calvin Caldwell; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, November 1st at Chandler Cemetery with Reverend Howard Strickland officiating. Pallbearers serving are: Eric Davidson, Randy Logan, Danny Caldwell, and Zac Davidson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1st from 9 AM TO 11AM at Thomas Funeral Home.
