Harry Edward Gerber, age 75 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away October 28, 2021 at his home.
Harry was born in Fairview, Michigan on October 19, 1946 to Aaron and Emma (Weaver) Gerber. On October 3, 1970, he married Carolyn Yoder. They spent 51 years together in the Fairview area, and raised their family there. He gave his life to the Lord in his youth; he loved and served Him faithfully the rest of his life. Harry was a member of the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church where he served as Minister.
Harry is survived by his wife Carolyn; his children: Wayne (Linda) Gerber of Fairview, MI; Elaine Gerber of Albion, IN; and Dale (Janice) Gerber of Mio, MI; 9 grandchildren; 4 sisters: Betty Zimmerman of PA; Sarah Bitikofer of OR; Nancy Troyer of MI; and Ruth Miller also of MI; 1 sister-in-law Laureen Gerber of MI; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jerry.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2 -8 PM at the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10 AM. Burial will follow the service at the Church Cemetery.
