Franklin A. Bishop, 73 years old of Dry Ridge, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Frank was a retired Truck Driver with the Castellini Group. He was a US Army Veteran and enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a big UK Wildcats fan. He is preceded in death by his son, Sgt. First Class Jason Lee Bishop in 2006.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Brenda Snow Bishop, daughters, Jamie Lynn Bishop, Lacey Jae Bishop and Julia Layne Mills, son-in-law, Adam Mills, daughter-in-law, Katrina Bishop, sister, Nancy Vogel, brothers, Marion, Jack and Glenn Bishop and grandchildren, Ashten, Morgan, Matthew and Jalynn Bishop and Katie Randolf-Bishop.
A gathering of friends will take place Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5PM to 7PM with a funeral service having military honors immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence.
