In the death record his parents are identified as Joseph & Amelia (Joins) Beaudoin. Canada is entered as the place of birth. His full age was entered as 80 years, 4 months, 25 days. If correct, backdating places his date of birth at 4-Aug-1878. Marital status is identified as single. Informant was his sister Mary LeClaire.
He is thought to be the Joseph Francis Beaudoin whose WWII draft registration card has living in Sutton, age 63, born August 4, 1878 in Gracefield (Quebec), Canada. He is also found in the 1940 census living by himself in the Wilkinsonville district of Sutton, age 61, widowed, born in Rhode Island.
His burial at Wilkinsonville Cemetery is documented in the death record and the Sutton Cemetery Commission burial register for 1958. The location of his burial site within the cemetery was not recorded in either. However, he purchased Lot 102 in 1956, upon the death of Nelson Beaudoin.
Note on lot location: On a 1956 lot plan, the lots along the southwest stone wall in the lower level area were set out as 10' x 20' and numbered 96 to 110. On the subsequent 1992 plan (image attached to Wilkinsonville Cemetery page) the lots were expanded to 20' x 20' and numbered (in reverse order) 10 to 3 (and Lots 2 and 1 were added to extend this line to the stone wall along Boston Road). Lot 102 on the 1956 plan is the first half (southeast half) of Lot 7 on the 1992 plan.
