Diefenderfer Rites Planned Here Friday
Mrs. Anna Diefenderfer, 82, a former Norfolk resident, died Monday at Malibu, Calif.
The body will arrive in Norfolk Thursday and funeral services are tentatively arranged for Friday afternoon at the Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Diefenderfer was born April 24, 1890, in Nebraska to Baltz and Elizabeth Volk. She had resided in California the past 22 years.
Her husband, Harry, died here in 1945. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Roy, Mrs. Ellen Heckendorf and Mrs. Mary Forbess, all of California, and John in Nebraska, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include five brothers, among them Elmer Volk of Norfolk
