Isaac Moore, aged sixty-two years residing south of Acton, in Johnson county, near the Shelby-Johnson county line, died at his home Friday after an illness of several weeks duration. His death was caused by Bright's disease. Mr. Moore at one time was a resident of Shelby county. He lived near Smithland and is well known in that part of the county. He leaves many relatives in this county to mourn his death. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley church and was one of the active members.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife and seven children. He also leaves three sisters and one brother. the three sisters who reside in this county are Mrs. Joh Possman of Boggstown, Mrs. David Talbert of Flat Rock, and Mrs. Robert McCarty of near Fenns.
The funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Boggstown Presbyterian Church. Burial was made in the Boggstowjn cemetery. The funeral was attended by a large number of the friends of the deceased.
