Carol L. Henderson
December 13, 1926 ~ October 23, 2021 (age 94)

Carol Louise Henderson, age 94, passed peacefully, in a New Canaan, CT Care Center.

She is survived by three Hiatt children: Lori, Paul and Jody, six grandsons and five great granddaughters, one great grandson—all of whom inherited attributes of her artistry.

She lived a full, imaginative life: most recently sewing, teaching tailoring (as a resident, Beatitudes, Glendale, AZ), current events/politics (voted for Biden since "Michelle chose not to run"), following trends and fashions—including those worn by along with the poignant words of Amanda Gorman, and the Olympics.

In the past, she had been an accomplished pianist, a high school English and Theatre teacher and even an aerobics instructor. Her life was full and varied. In 2000, she reconnected and thereafter wed her first and forever love, Evanston HS sweetheart, Donald L. Miehls (d. 2018). They enjoyed AZ living and travelled to his family in FL as well spent summers in CT with youngest daughter and her family.

Per her wishes she will have a small spring scattering of ashes in a CT magnolia garden with options for virtual participation.
