Glenn Robert Patterson, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2021. The son of Robert G. and Ramona L. (Duzan) Patterson, Glenn was born August 7, 1953 in Indianapolis.

Glenn worked as a correctional officer with the Federal Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana several years. He later owned and operated Patterson's Handyman Service before retiring. Glenn served in the United States Marine Corps and later in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Marine Corps Barracks. He enjoyed his cars and found the time to do rehab on houses.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Deborah Beasley Patterson of Indianapolis; daughters, Sarah and Nicole Patterson; brother and sister-in-law, Michael S. and Julia Patterson of Indianapolis; and grandson, Hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Patterson and sister, Pamela Thompson.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, where a funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon. Military honors will follow services. A committal service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. November 2, 2021 in the chapel at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Road Gate, Madison, Indiana with burial to follow at the cemetery.
