Ida Hayes Leslie, age 92 of Emma, widow of the late Claude D. Leslie, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Riverview Health Care Center. Ida was born October 29, 1929 at Lackey, KY to the late Elisabeth Williams and Lovell Hayes. She is survived by two sons, Don Randy Leslie and Steve R. (Lois) Leslie, both of Emma, one brother, Don (Patsy) Hayes of Marion Ohio, and four grandchildren, Stephen Sean Leslie of Louisville KY, Elisabeth Leslie (Scott) Dossey of Knoxville TN, Saylor Leslie Boley and Chloe Leslie (Steven) Starkey of Marion OH; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ida was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Mitchell and Thelma Heinz; and one brother, Clyde Hayes. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Interment will be at the Crit Leslie Cemetery at Emma. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 1pm
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Christ United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Frazier Funeral Home of Martin KY.
Interment will be at the Crit Leslie Cemetery at Emma. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 1pm
