Mary Elizabeth Martin Heath, 74, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edgar Martin and Sadie Cabral Martin, and husband, Douglas McArthur Heath.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a nurse for 44 years, working first at Caswell Center and then for the Lenoir County Health Department. She was a member of Webb's Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed word search puzzles and working with the flowers in her yard, and loved her fur baby Izzy. She was loved by all and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Heath Terrell and husband, Odie, and Sara Heath May; grandchildren, Pallas Rylan Hood, Corbin Ethan May, Sawyer Gavin May, Codie Terrell, Briana Terrell Hill and husband, Blake, Jessica Terrell Page, and Cassidy Terrell; great-grandchild, Lucas Noah Terrell-Cannon; brother, William "Bill" Martin and wife, Vivian, and many other special nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
