William E. Walpole, "Bill" (1931-2021), of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on October 26, 2021.
Bill was born in Oswego, New York, and moved to Florida in 1990. He served in the United States Military in both the Army and the Marine Corps.
He taught school in Whitesboro, New York, for 8 years and was an elementary school principal in Clinton, New York, for 22 years.
Bill was an avid athlete and sports fan. He was a four-letter athlete at Oswego High School and played baseball, basketball, and football at Irving Prep School, Colgate University, and the State University of New York at Oswego.
Bill coached Little League baseball, American Legion baseball, and semi-pro baseball in Utica, New York. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, golf, and shuffleboard. He enjoyed watching the New York Giants, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tampa Bay Rays.
He is survived by his loving wife Flo of 65 years, his daughter Susan Walpole Moloney of Redway, California, and his son Bill and daughter-in-law Dr. Annie Medina-Walpole, of Pittsford, New York. He also leaves a sister, Mary Anne, of Oswego, New York, and two grandchildren, Hannah, of Miami, Florida, and Ryan of Pittsford, New York.

A celebration of his life will be at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens at 10 AM on Monday, November 1, followed by a service at 11 AM.
