John Stephen Pearson of Tipton passed away October 26, 2021. John was born in Kokomo on October 12, 1945 to Bernard & Helen (Taylor) Pearson.
He married Mary Jo Walker in May 1997.
John served in the US Navy and was a lifetime member of the American Legion and also the Kokomo VFW. He belonged to the Moose Lodge and Howard Masonic Lodge #93.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo, children, Mark (Sarah) Pearson, Trish (Dean) Belk, and Steve (Veronica) Crews, and 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and a sister, Linda Shepherd.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Tony Crews, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
At John's request, no services are planned. He will be buried in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
