HOGUE, Larry Edward

Age 72, retired U.S. Army Maj. and Vietnam War veteran (1968-69). Born to Edward Hogue and Doris Odom. Hogue enjoyed a long Army career, achieved 3 Army Commendation Medals, and the Vietnam Service Medal with V for Valor. He attended OCS, earned a Master's degree, and retired in 1993. During a short, post-war break in service he sold real estate and became Broker/owner of Castle Realty. After military retirement he returned to selling real estate with America's Realty as a top 10 Salesperson/investor, and earned a private pilot's license. Larry Hogue passed away from cancer on October 2, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 52-years, Margaret Hogue, his two daughters, Barbara Rape and Mikki Dixon, and two grandsons, Andrew and Tyler Rape. Although he is gone, his service and personal sacrifices will never be forgotten. Hogue will be laid to rest with full Military Honors on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 12:30 PM, at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. The burial will be open to all who wish to pay their respects.
