Records show her going to Montreal, Quebec, Canada on June 20, 1920 and returning to Liverpool, England on June 13, 1921. At the age of 32, she married John Arthur Yonge who was born on May 8, 1893 in Rongstrael, England. Marita's marriage to John (Jack) took place in York, Ontario, Canada on October 4, 1923. On January 30, 1930, Marita sailed from Kingston, Jamaica to New York on the vessel Thives. On November 5, 1931, John and Mary sailed to Lewiston, New York. The census shows that in 1939, she and John were living in Middlesex, England. By 1972 they had moved to Llangurig, Wales. John died at the age of 80 in October 1973 and Marita died in on August 25, 1980 at the age of 88, registered in Llanidloes, Powys, Wales.
