ASHTON -- Robin Wilkins-Yazdani, 61, of Ashton, passed away unexpectedly at Ventra-Evart, on Monday, July 30, 2018.

A celebration of Robin's life and spirit will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at the Ashton United Methodist Church, 20862 11 Mile Road, with family greeting friends from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations in Robin's name can be made to Eagle Village, Ashton UMC or the Mecosta County Animal Rescue Coalition.

Robin was born on June 19, 1957, in Grand Rapids, to Arthur and Patricia (Gamble) Wilkins. She graduated from Pine River High School in 1975. Robin continued her education at Central Michigan, Ferris State and Eastern New Mexico universities.

Robin was an accomplished artist who created beauty all around her. She served as a photographer for numerous years at Lifetouch, then Geskus photography. She used her love of photography to take yearbook photos, where she was known to many faculty and students in our local area as the "picture lady." Robin had a magical personality and could make all children smile.

Robin's love for animals led to a second job at Ventra, which gave her the means to provide and care for her pets and family. If you knew her, you knew anything that came into her yard would be cared for -- both human and animal. She loved the outdoors, hunting, gardening and most of all, her family.

Grandma Quack Quack's legacy of love, compassion, honesty and forgiveness will not be forgotten by the family and friends she leaves behind. Left to treasure her memory are her father and mother, Arthur and Patsy; her brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Deena Wilkins; her children, Autumn Graber and Abriam Wilkins-Yazdani; her grandchildren, Sanoe Graber, Brett Graber and Emmerik Wilkins; her son-in-law, Rob Graber; her precious, Lyndsie Hainley; along with many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Robin was preceded in death by her brother Mark Wilkins.

Everyone was captivated by her presence.

Robin will remain in each of our hearts and we look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

Arrangements and care have been entrusted to the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Share a memory or sign the guestbook for Robin online at daggettgilbertfuneralhome.com.
