Obituary of Glenda WILSON
Glenda Amberson Wilson of Alexandria passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 80.
Visitation Service will be on Saturday October 30, 2021 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 2pm until 3pm. Funeral Service will follow at 3pm in the Chapel. Dr. Craig Reynolds will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mt, Zion Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, OB and Anna Amberson and her daughter, Angie Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Jana Mecham (Heath); son-in-law, Michael Brown; grandchildren, Breanna Brown, Dylan Brown (Rachel), Colton Mecham (Grace Hudson), Madison Brown and Caitlyn Mecham; two great grandchildren, Brylee Bailey and Sadie Brown; brother Jack Amberson (Sharon) loving sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special friends, Alda Carroll, Laura Glasgow and Mona Prickett.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Brown. Colton Mecham, Jacob Amberson, Clint Stewart, Hagan Stewart, Bryant Dunaway, Chase Smitherman and Jason King.

She was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for many years and a retired secretary, bookkeeper, and office manager at the law firm of Isom, Stanko and Senter. She was lovingly known as Grandma to all those who knew her.
