Dorothy A. George, 82, formerly of Ballietsville, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Whitehall Manor. Born in Ballietsville, October 10, 1939, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Allen M.M. George, Sr. and Ethel M. (Schneck) George. She worked alongside her parents at the family farm, the former George's Turkey & Poultry Farm in Ballietsville. Dorothy was a member of the Lehigh County Farm Bureau and Union United Church of Christ, Neffs. Dorothy loved her many nephews and one niece. She shared many stories about her three favorite horses, Lady, Melody, and Toka as well as stories about her favorite pet dogs, Teddy, Mollie, Meiko. Her enjoyment of playing bingo was her speciality but also doing puzzles and completing adult coloring books.

Survivors: Sisters, Patricia L. Stewart of Coplay, Rose Marie Beck of Schnecksville, Nancy J. Werner and her husband, Fred of East Greenville, Roberta F. George and her husband, Kevin Brey of Pennsburg, Sonia E. Fink and her husband, David of Germansville, Carolyn M. George of Schnecksville; sister-in-law, Shirley A. George of Schnecksville; 10 nephews; 1 niece; predeceased by brothers, William D. George, II and Allen M.M. George, Jr. and brother- in- law, Richard H. Stewart.

Service: A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Heintzleman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309 Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will conclude services at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
