Ruth worked for the State of Wisconsin at 1 West Wilson for many years. She loved to play bingo, spend time with her grandkids and especially enjoyed the holidays and gathering with family.
Ruth is survived by four sons, Roger (Gretchen) Powell, Richard Powell, William (Suzanne) Powell and Steven (Sandra) Powell; two daughters, Donna Harris and Nancy Powell; six grandchildren, Phillip Powell, Thomas Powell, Armella Powell, Sophie Powell, Matthew Powell and Brittney (Kodie) Williams; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Amacher, Arthur Amacher and Edward Amacher; sisters, Esther Kinnear, Janice (Russell) Pohlman and Helen (Arlin) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phillip Powell; grandson, James Harris Jr.; brothers, Robert Amacher, Roger Amacher, Danny Amacher and Frederick Amacher and sister, Violet Lange.
Burial will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens.
