Helen A. Hart, 69, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 23, 1952 in Jefferson City; the daughter of the late Felix and Cecilia (Stumpe) Huhman. Helen was united in marriage to the love of her life, Albert Hart, on October 19, 1974 in Meta, Missouri.
Helen was a 1970 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia. She participated in the Multi-Skilled Secretarial Course at Nichols Career Center. Helen was employed with Lincoln University from 1983 until her retirement in 2012. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2693 Auxiliary and the Elks Lodge #513. Helen was the 2020 cancer survivor prom queen and was active with the Partners in Hope Relay for Life Team in Mary's Home, Missouri. She enjoyed crafting, going to flea markets and was addicted to watching Hallmark movies. Most of all, she cherished the times spent with her grandchildren.
Helen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Al; daughters: Bobbie Fluegel (Scott), Susan Hart and Jessica Meller (Andrew) and grandchildren: Gavin Fluegel, Aiden Meller and Jake Meller and her beloved fur baby, Watson.
Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with a memorial service following at 5:30 p.m.
