Kirby will be dearly missed by every person he touched in his life, and we all feel profoundly saddened by his passing.
Kirby will be missed everyday by his daughter Eleanor Mae McDaniel (4), mother Susan Kirby McDaniel, and sister Megan Ann McDaniel, both of Cedar Park, Texas, grandfathers Del McDaniel and Stan Kirby, his aunt Kim McDaniel, girlfriend Shandri Roedel, uncles Derek McDaniel and Steve Kirby, Eleanor's mother Callie Blackwell, cousins, and many great friends. Kirby is preceded in death by his father Marty McDaniel, his grandmother Brenda Bridgewater Smith, and his grandmother Dorothy Kirby. We take comfort knowing Kirby is now reunited with them.
Kirby was happiest when with daughter Ellie. Together they enjoyed singing, dancing, playing hide and seek, and a good game of rock, paper, scissors. He fondly gave her the nickname "Smelly Ellie". Kirby was a skilled fisherman, catching sizeable largemouth bass which he held up proudly for the camera. Kirby was a good and kind person, and his absence will be felt always.
