Joyce worked as the furniture manager for Big Lots. In her free time she enjoyed line dancing, as well as teaching line dancing, crocheting, tending to her plants and flowers, crafts with her pictures, and making jewelry.
Surviving are daughters; Pennie (Craig) Strother of Festus, MO & Carrie (Dan) Brod of Hillsboro, MO, son; Tim (Dawn) Griffin of Herculaneum, MO, brothers; Roger Missey of St. Charles, MO, Keith (Sharon) Missey of Blackwell, MO, Kevin (Barb) Missey of KY, sisters; Faye (Benny) Merseal of Cadet, MO & Patty (Jim) King of TX, grandchildren; Logan, Dani, Jordan, Trevor, & Jesse, great-grandchildren; Hailee & Landon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many other dear family and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Cheatham, father, Patrick Missey, mother, Myrtle Missey, & brother, Darrel Missey.
