Dorothy (Dottie) Lee Burns, born September 6th, 1938 in Pennsylvania, left this earth.

Dottie began her life in Reynoldsburg Ohio with her mother Ruth Bledsoe. Dottie met her husband, Buddy Willard while both attended Reynoldsburg High School. Dottie wed her high school sweetheart, Buddy, and the couple was soon blessed with their first child Stanley on May 29th, 1957, followed 2 years later by twins Rhonda and Randall on June 22nd, 1959.

Dottie channeled her business skills and professionalism successfully with Southwestern Bell (AT&T) leading a regional team for many years until her retirement. Family always came first with Dottie and her devotion to her children reflects the people they have become. Dottie's retirement years were spent with home projects, gardening, computer gaming, and managing a Tuesday Mornings clothing store.

Dottie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law. Rhonda and Rick McKay, son Randall Willard, granddaughter Dana, great-granddaughter Lillian, and grandson Matthew Willard.

Dottie fought with courage and grace as she did all things in life, but eventually passed peacefully at her home from advanced dementia on October 1, 2021, in Denton, TX at the age of 83, while surrounded by a loving family. Our hearts are broken but we are at peace knowing that she is in a better place.
