Mr. Colden L. Spears, 90, of 1778 E. Cornelius Harnett Blvd., Lillington, passed away October 20, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memories: children - Leon Spears (Odessa) of Buies Creek, Martha Spears and Naomi Spears both of the home, Calvin Spears and Shirley Spears both of Dunn, Glenda Matthews (Eric) of Maryland, James Spears (Tanisha) of Raleigh, Catherine Spears of Lillington, Carolyn Spears of Bunnlevel, Cleavern Spears (Carol) of Maryland, Dennis Spears of Willow Spring, Shawn Spears of Fuquay-Varina, and Tommy Spears of Bunnlevel; sister - Colene Blue of Linden; brothers - Victor Spears (Rosetta) of Angier, Larry Spears (Joy) and Nathaniel Spears (Shelia) both of Lillington; sisters-in-law - Della Spears and Mary Spears both of Lillington and Louise Spears of Bunnlevel, Mrs. Mary Williams; 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 12 Noon - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier. Masks are required to enter.

The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing. Masks are required to enter.

Burial will follow in the Cumberland Union F.W.B. Church Cemetery, Linden.
