Joyce Marie Hall, 80, of Falmouth passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 due to complications from a stroke.
Joyce graduated from Stafford High School in 1959 and from Nursing School in May of 1960. She worked as an LPN at Mary Washington Hospital for over 29 years before retiring to take care of her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest treasure and she enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren whenever possible.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Robert Spencer Hall; her daughter, Sherry Lynn Crosslin; 3 grandsons, Mitchell Creech Crosslin, Richard Claude Crosslin and Robert Spencer Crosslin (Andy); 2 great grandchildren, Savannah Marie Crosslin and Benjamin James Crosslin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Elizabeth Hall; her parents, William Thomas Mitchell and Marie Elizabeth Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Falmouth Baptist Church, 302 Colonial Avenue, Falmouth, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
