Carl Everett Roark was born December 21, 1942 in Mixersville, IN and passed away December 11, 2021 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky at the age of 78. He was the son of the late William and Ruth Johnson Roark.
Carl was lovingly known by his family and friends as "Coach". He is survived by his son: Brian Roark of Cincinnati; his daughter: Karla Mills (John) of Camden, OH; a sister: Darlene Holbrook of Hamilton, OH; and 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Doris Gage Roark; a sister: Louise Bayliss; and 5 brothers: Leonard Roark, Robert "Bob" Roark, Wm H. "Bill" Roark, Roy Roark and Wm. M. "Jr." Roark.
Coach earned his nickname from his coaching of little league and then as softball coach of the Moose lodge in Hamilton. He was a retired boiler mechanic fro Mosler Safe Co. He was a member of the the Loyal Order of the Moose-Hamilton Lodge 36, the Fraternal Order of Eagle-Aire 407 and the Monkeys Mutual Aid Society of Hamilton. In addition to his work and community service, Coach enjoyed fishing at Lake Williamstown and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Broadridge Cemetery.
