David H. Perry
April 28, 1943 - October 22, 2021

David H. Perry, beloved husband and father, fell asleep in Christ surrounded by his family on Friday. He was born on April 28, 1943, in Webb City, the second of the late William H. and Marion Perry, and brother to William H. Perry III and Rebecca Perry. A 1961 graduate of Webb City High School, David attended the University of Kansas. Prior to his retirement, David was the president and CEO of Cardinal Scale Manufacturing Company in Webb City.

He is survived by his wife Christi Perry, daughter Megan Sabo and son-in-law Jonathan Sabo, and daughter Micah Mudge and son-in-law Nick Mudge.

David was a Christadelphian and his steadfast hope lies in the resurrection at the return of Christ: "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake." (Daniel 12:2). An avid bible student, he believed in the words of 1 Corinthians 15: 52-54, "For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immorality, then the saying that is written will come true: ' Death has been swallowed up in victory.' "

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31.

As a student of bible prophecy, David now rests in the hope of Israel: "He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken." Isaiah 25:8.
