Ronald A Hansen, age 69, of Austin, Texas, died on October 25, 2021, in Austin. He was born on May 10, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Toini (Karppinen) Hansen. He attended schools in Chicago and then lived in Mattoon, Wisconsin and most recently in Austin.
Ron was employed by Armin Tools in Chicago and then in Rhinelander for a number of years. He also operated a hobby farm earlier in his life and had worked at Wisconsin Veneer and Plywood in Mattoon, Wisconsin.
Ron is survived by his daughter Erin (Mark) Maus, his sons Christopher (Jodie) Hansen and Joshua Hansen, his fourteen grandchildren, his two sisters Carol (Larry) Larson and Linda (John) McGhee, Nieces, Nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley Deborde and his brother Daniel Hansen.
Funeral services for Ron will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Pine Grove Community Church in Rhinelander. The Reverend Jeremy Vander Galien will be officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Mattoon, Wisconsin.
