David L Russell, Jr., 54, of Ironton, OH passed away Wednesday September 29, 2021 at Oakwood Manor, Flatwoods, KY. He was born April 25, 1967 in Lawrence County, OH, a son of Dottie Russell and the late David L. Russell, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Missy Webb and stepmother, Diana Russell. He is survived by three children, Krista (Jeremy)Abrams, Shane (Hannah) Russell, and Kaci (Tanner) Delong; two sisters, Brenda (Davey) Tackett and Carla (Michael) Clark; six brothers, Daryl (Carla) Russell, Donnie (Melissa) Russell, Allen (Tiffany) Russell, Chris (Cassie) Russell, Junie Depriest, and Mikey Depriest; and seven grandchildren, Eli, Evan, and Ean Abrams; Jaci and Josie Delong; Reid and Rylee Russell. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2PM at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Ronnie Blagg officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.slackandwallace.com.
