York - Michael E. Tierney, 60, entered into rest October 22, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Lauri L. (Ruth) Tierney for 30 years.

Mr. Tierney was born in Jersey City, NJ September 17, 1961 to the late Richard D. and Phyllis J. (Cease) Tierney. He was a graduate of York Suburban High School. Michael worked as an auctioneer for Dave Conley of Rentzels Auction Service

In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his children: Erik T. Tierney and wife Jessica, Austin M. Tierney and fiance Taylor Small, Devon O. Eckenrode and husband Christopher, Emily C. Tierney, and Katie E. Tierney; grandchildren Declan and Renleigh Tierney and Chase and Baby Jack Eckenrode (due March 2022); brother Richard D. Tierney Jr. and sister Dianne L. Tierney; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by a son, Zachary R. Tierney.

A public graveside service will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10 am at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
