David Michael Lynch a beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on October 23rd. Born in Springfield, MA on January 6th, 1933, the son of Michael J. Lynch and Mary C. (Sullivan) Lynch, he was raised in Western Massachusetts and joined the Navy at the age of 18 during the Korean War and spent 40 months aboard the U.S.S. Raymond, a Destroyer Escort DE-341. He served four years which qualified him for the G.I. Bill and was honorably discharged as a Radioman II Petty Officer. At the age of 22, he began studies at Boston College and graduated in 1959 with a bachelor's in economics. He had a passion for real estate that began when he worked in the real estate acquisition departments for Burger King then Pizza Hut corporation. He was a devout and lifelong practicing Catholic, and fervently proud to be Irish and a Father. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Marianne Griffin and Margaret Carifio, his brother John B. Lynch, his sons Michael J. Lynch and Mark M. Lynch. He is survived by his wife Marsha S. Lynch, his sons Brian D. Lynch, Sean P. Lynch, and grandchildren Paxton M. Lynch, Sullivan B. Lynch, Brynn M. Lynch and Britton D. Lynch. The family will have service at the Mulkey Mason Funeral Home located at 740 S. Edmonds Lane Lewisville, Texas, 75067 starting at 2:00pm Saturday October 30th, burial will follow at the Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
