She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Jack D. Dunn (Retired USAF), who died October 28, 1999; her sister, Janice Nowlin and her husband, Frank; her cousin Bonnie Hall and her husband Tom.
She was a beloved resident of Traditions at Beaumont. Margaret attended Eastern High School and Campbellsville University and retired from Kmart (who her husband called "KMark") after 22 years. Her interests included puzzles, playing Bingo with her friends, "happy hours" at Traditions at Beaumont and enjoying time with her family and neighbors. She loved watching her grandsons play sports and knew everything they did was "perfect"….just ask her. Margaret was an avid sports fan who enthusiastically followed The 48, Alabama Crimson Tide and the Colts. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved decorating her home, Hallmark movies and a few glasses of Vino. Her philanthropic interests included St. Jude's, US Armed Forces, Christian Appalachian, Children's Project, and the Native American Children's Fund.
Survivors include her children, Anita A. Dunn, Richard D. Dunn (Alecia)and Deanna G. Dunn (Tabby Lewis); her "perfect" grandsons, Trenton Dakota Dunn (USAF) and Christian Alec Dunn; her brother, Jimmy Vaughn (Donna); her cousin Cheryl Kessinger (Greg); and many friends at Traditions at Beaumont, all of whom loved her.
Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Ratterman Funeral Home.
