Connie E. Russell Holt, 55 of Kodak, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021.
Connie served Sevier County for over 27 years, with 19 of those as an elected official as General Sessions Court Clerk. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville before moving to Kodak where she started attending church at The Crossing. Connie was an active member of the Rotary Club, Ruritan Club, as well as the Republican Committee. She has a passion for her pets Izzy, Liz, and Leo and all animals in general. Connie enjoyed helping take care of the cattle on her father's farm. She was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, LA Dodgers, and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson. Connie was a loving daughter, mother, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, and friend who devoted her life to caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her father, William "Billy" E. Russell; father-in-law, William "Bill" R. Holt Jr.; and brother-in-law, Tim Holt.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Holt and wife Shannon; mother, Marie Russell; brother, William Russell and wife Brandi; uncle Sherman and aunt Maxine; nephew, Matthew Holt and wife Hollie; Andrew's father, Mark Holt; grandchildren, Logan Beaudreau and wife Carrie; great-grandchild, Chrystopher Beaudreau; very special friend, Trena Woods; and numerous other extended family and friends.
