Sandra D. Wood, age 81, of Orangeville passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at the Bonham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Stillwater. Sandra had been a resident of her home in Fishingcreek Township for more than 35 years. She was born on Friday, March 29, 1940, in Bloomsburg. Sandra graduated from Bloomsburg High School. On Oct. 22, 1960, Sandra married her loving husband, Raymond E. Wood. Sandra was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. She enjoyed spending her time traveling and trail riding on her horse. Sandra will always be remembered for riding horses beside her beloved husband, Raymond, and as a kind and loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandson. Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Raymond E. Wood; two daughters, Kimberly, wife of Peter Llanso of Orangeville, Kathleen Dove of Orangeville; six grandchildren, Erin, wife of Michael Beagle, Lauren Coombs, wife of Ryan Windfeldt, Olivia Dove, Evan Llanso, Aaron Llanso, Leah Llanso; and a great-grandson, Tate Beagle. The family would also like to recognize Sandra's dearest, loyal and faithful friend, Lois Roberts, for all her support to Sandra throughout many years. A memorial service to celebrate Sandra's life will be announced at a future date. The Allen Funeral Home Inc., 745 Market at Eighth streets, Bloomsburg, is honored to be serving the Wood family.
