Joseph Paul Barnes, Sr., age 75, of Berry, Kentucky, passed away at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, on Monday, October 25, 2021. He was born on February 18, 1946, to the late Paul Barnes and Emma Walters Barnes. Joe was a retired truck driver and spent many years enjoying his travels throughout the United States.
He is survived by: three children, Joseph Paul Barnes, Jr., of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Tabatha Pack, of Berry, Kentucky, and Morris "Tony" Barnes (Amanda), also of Berry; three grandchildren, Tawny Pack, Joshua Barnes and Shania Pack; a step-grandson, James Campbell; and eight siblings, Harlan "Butch" Barnes, Gladys Hayes, Jackie Barnes, Danny Barnes, Roy Barnes, Ronnie Barnes, Angela Bryant and Lisa Fullmer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Berry. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. His final resting place will be at Pythian Grove Cemetery, in Berry.
