Warr Acres resident, Margie Lee Jones, age 80, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was born November 1, 1940 in Hemet, California to Henry and Margerine (Smith) Tilley. She met the love of her life, Donald Jones, and they married in 1959. They eventually moved to Oklahoma in 1970 where they raised their family and made their home. Together, Donald and Margie, owned and operated a lawn mowing business, including landscaping, which kept them busy for over 40 years. Margie loved working hard and loved being outside. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her beautiful flower garden. She also enjoyed board games, garage sales, and spending time with her family that she loved so much. Margie was stubborn and feisty, always one to speak her mind. She also never met a stranger. Anyone who made eye contact with her was automatically her friend. She will be dearly missed be her family and everyone who's life she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Millie Garner; and brothers, Dewayne Tilley and Rick Tilley. She is survived by her husband, Donald Jones; children, Donnie (Susan Houghton) Jones, Marie (Chris) Courtney, and Derek (Donna) Jones; son-in-law, Steve Garner and wife Sherri; siblings, Darlene (Bob) Wilson and Earl (Pat) Tilley; sister-in-law, Mary Tilley; grandchildren, Jimmy Garner, Christopher (Jen) Courtney, Kayla (Tyler) Coats, Dylan (Erika) Jones, Haley Jones, Abby Jones, Bryan (Tristen) Garner, Joseph Sublett, Brittani Conaster, and Corey Jones; great grandchildren, Jakob, Audrina, Mackennan, Cash, Brody, Kambria, Braylon, Rowdy, Domanick, Merriella, and Trinity. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be 10am Friday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Services will be livestreamed on Facebook @BillMerrittFuneral
