Funeral services for Thomas "Tom" Roy Maxwell Jr., 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM and on Saturday prior to the service from 9-11 AM at the funeral home. He passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Louisville.

Tom was born on October 13, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to the late Thomas Roy Maxwell Sr. and Anna Helen Mazue. He proudly served his country for ten years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in security for many years at several places including the Galt House in Louisville. Tom had a man cave in which he proudly displayed his love for Notre Dame football, wrestling and the three stooges. He will be deeply missed by those that knew him.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Maxwell.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Maxwell; his daughter, Chelsea Maxwell; a grandson, Finley Thomas Maxwell; three siblings, Dorothy Badgett, Andrew Maxwell, Bob Maxwell; and two nephews, Rick Badgett (Tracy) and Bobby Badgett.
