CRAWFORD, Katherine M., age 85 of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville.
Born April 1, 1936 in Bennington, Vermont, she was an Administrative Assistant in the health care industry and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael C. Crawford and brother, Thomas H. Ryan. She is survived by her companion: Edmond VanDeWalle of Spring Hill; son: Chris Crawford of Spring Hill; daughter and future son-in-law: Kathleen Venturella and Walter Nutting of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; sister: Martha Gillespie of Worcester, Massachusetts; grandchildren: Mariah (Tyler) Fulkerson, Rhiannon (Kevin Gorman) Venturella, Delaney ( LCPL Conner) Postma, PFC Brendan Venturella, Tamara Obrien; and four great grandchildren with one more on the way.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-6pm, Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel with a prayer service at 5pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am, Monday, November 1, 2021 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
