Dorothy Troop Oliver, 96 of Estero, FL passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021 at Life Care Center of Estero. Formerly of Cadiz, KY she had been a resident of Estero since 2017. Dorothy was born December 3, 1924 in Madisonville, KY a daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Goldie May (Bruce) Troop.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Peggy and her husband Benjamin Reckards of Estero, FL; brother, Robert B. Troop of Lady Lake, FL; 3 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Oliver, Jr.; brothers, Daniel B. Troop, Jr., Alvin C. Troop; and sister, Erma G. Pierce.
Graveside service will at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 520 McLeod Lane, Madisonville, KY 42431.
