Private funeral services for Mrs. Henry Boecher, who died suddenly in her home at 10:50 o'clock yesterday morning, will be held Thursday afternoon in the Wendt and Dailey funeral chapel, Port Byron. The Rev. Stanley Graf, pastor of the Congregational church, will officiate. The family request that no flowers be sent.
Mrs. Boecher, the former Josephine Louise Olson, was born Sept. 15, 1885, in Moline, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Olson. She was married to Henry Boecher Nov. 21, 1903, in Davenport. She was of Lutheran faith.
Surviving are the widower; five sons, Leroy of Keokuk, Iowa, Arthur of East Moline, Delbert, John and William of Port Byron; four daughters, Mrs. Lucile Grumadas, Mrs. Winifred Guignon and Mrs. April Bloom of Port Byron and Mrs. Bertha Masscho of Erie, and 13 grandchildren.
