Linda Gail Parks Templeton, 72, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her residence. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a former employee of Hamilton Medical Center where she worked in Radiology and was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Myrtle Ramona Dunn Parks; sister, Janie Chard; and three brothers, Lamar Parks, Ronnie Parks and Edward Parks. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Templeton of Ringgold, GA.; two children, Roger Templeton of Ringgold, GA., and Kimberly (Shawn) Henson of Ringgold, GA.; sister, Sherry Peters of LaFayette, GA.; six grandchildren, Jay, Alicia, Matt, Rachel, Alex and Noah; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Corbin Kinsey officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South. The family will receive friends 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
