Edward Bergman Of Perryville Dies In Memorial Hospital
Edward J. Bergman, 86-year-old resident of Perryville, died on Thursday, Oct. 26, in the Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bergman was born on Sep. 27, 1881, in Perry County, a son of George and Katherine (Boettner) Bergman. On March 28, 19910, he married Miss Minnie Sutterer, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Iva) Hacker of Perryville, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Wilson of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Emma Giles of Kennewick, Wash.
The boy lay in state at Young & Sons Chapel until noon Saturday, Oct. 28, when it was taken to Immanuel Lutheran Church for services at 2 by the Rev. Paul Lutz. Interment was in the church cemetery.
