Robert W. "Bob" Greenwood, 66, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born on October 21, 1954 in Aurora, IL, the son of Louis E. and Dorothy E. (Hockin) Greenwood.
Bob retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Watching drag racing was one of his favorite pastimes.
Survivors include his wife, Julia; his daughter, Laura Greenwood; his sisters, Mary Luba, Margaret Leigh and Pamela (Gary) Schmidt; his step-daughters, Ann (Will) Hartle and Debbie Sickler; his 6 step-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elizabeth Cornele.
A private graveside service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park.
Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army in Bob's name.
