GALVESTON - Kim (a.k.a. Gillian Dane) passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, holding the hands of both of her children.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 Tremont St., Galveston, TX 77550. Afterwards, a "Sunset Celebration of Life" will take place at the Warren Home at 12808 East Barcelona St., Galveston TX 77554.

Born Dana Kim Landers on April 9, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas, she grew up there and graduated from Central High School.

Kim was well known in Breckenridge, Texas, and the Houston/Galveston area for her photography business "Timeless Images." She spent many hours photographing families and children along the beaches of Galveston that she loved so much.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, ex-wife, soon-to-be grandmother and friend. She enjoyed jazz music, sunsets, the ocean, writing, talking on the phone, and devoting her life to God. She will always be remembered for her love of Stevie Nicks. She was a volunteer photographer for Camp CARE, a camp for children with cancer. Words can never express how much she will be missed. Her faith, strength and spirit were an inspiration to all that knew her.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Lyndon Claude Landers.

Surviving are her mother, Donna Ray Landers of San Angelo, Texas; husband Dee Warren of Galveston; daughter Amy Dee Warren and husband Dan of Charlotte, N.C.: son Shawn Warren and fiance Michelle Dayton of Katy, Texas; future grandson, Buck West Warren; brother Scott Landers and wife Cindy of North Richland Hills, Texas; ex-husband Steve Jennings of Clear Lake, Texas; and a host of family and friends too extensive to list in such a short space.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to in Kim's name to Camp CARE, P.O. Box 35072, Charlotte, NC 28235.
