Robert J. "Ole" Olson, age 46 of Cavalier, North Dakota passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Valley Senior Living on Columbia, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Robert J. Olson was born February 2, 1975 in Grafton, North Dakota, the son of Susan (Lindblad) Severson and Rodney Olson. He attended and graduated from St. Thomas High School. Ole worked for Bert Olson Trucking and bartended at Matty's Bar in St. Thomas. He moved to Cavalier where he made his home until moving to Valley Senior Living on Columbia. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and his cat, Hunter. He loved Sioux Hockey and trains.
Robert is survived by his parents: Susan (Darrell) Severson, Grafton, ND; Rodney (Debi Born) Olson, St. Thomas, ND; sister, Kristi (Bradley) Kloos, Lindstrom, MN; daughter, Niesha Olson; his cat, Hunter; nieces and nephews: Jayden, Isaiah, Seth, Aliza, Yuleza and Roman. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Olson, maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts: Teresa Numedahl, Donna White and Jana Lindblad.
Interment will be at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural St. Thomas, ND.
