Arthur Dennison Jones, age 101, widower of Lucille Botts Jones, died Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Johnson Mathers Nursing Home, in Carlisle, Kentucky.
A native of Fleming County, Kentucky, he was born on July 11, 1920, a son of the late Arthur Miller Jones and Daisy Bush Jones. He was a farmer, having retired from The Redmon Farm, on Ardery Road, raising tobacco. He was a member of Greater First Baptist Church, in Sharpsburg, Kentucky.

He is survived by: four children, Betty Mae Black, Carl "Sugar Bear" Jones, James Earl Jones and Virgil Douglas Jones; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Judy Jones; and many other relatives.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by: four children, Gene Kelly Jones, Sr., Roger Dean Jones, Raymond Lawrence Jones, Sr., and Charles Monroe Jones, Sr.; two brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main Street, Paris, by Reverend Aaron Crumbie. Burial will be at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, November 6, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Jones, Jr., Gene Kelly Jones, Jr., Marlon Lamont Jones, Ja'non LaQuist Jones, Cody Jones and Bill Conner. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Black, Darnell Hall, Cordell Jones, Henry Howard, Ryan Farris, John Trumbo and Derrick Jones. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home.
