Mrs. Eva Marylin Baker, age 83, of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away Thursday October 7th in her home while in the presence of her loving family.

She was born December 1st, 1937, in Worland Wyoming, the daughter of Verna Fae Curtis and Guy Curtis.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband Harold Buster Baker of 50 years, parents Verna Fae Curtis and Guy Curtis. Sisters Donna and Nada Curtis, Brother Ronald Curtis and grandson Alan Shaklee.

Eva enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Holidays were always special for her. She spent countless hours decorating for almost any occasion while baking delicious deserts. She enjoyed her morning aerobics classes at the Rec Center and afternoon card games at the senior center with her friends. She was always up for a quick trip to the casino with her daughter's and grand-daughter. She enjoyed her Sunday's attending the Rawlins Cooperative Parish Church always to be followed by an exciting Broncos game.

Eva is survived by daughter Dolores and Dale Shaklee, Daughter Twana and Ed Schinkel, grand-daughters Danielle Wilcox and Megan Wilson, Grandson Michael Mcvay and great grandchildren Cadon Shaklee, Taylor Mcvay, Bently Wilcox, Nathan Mcvay, and Brooklyn Wilcox. Nieces Debbie Eldridge, Kally Leen and Becky Todd, Great Niece Sheresa Trainor, Nephews Gary Todd, Dee Curtis, Al Curtis and Roger Curtis, Great Nephews Ryan Geuke and Brian Geuke, as well as numerous other family members and friends, especially dear friends Marilyn Higgins and Lucille Vigil whom she loved dearly.

Eva wasn't only a sister, mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She was a believer, a fighter, a perfectionist and most of all a comforter. She truly touched everyone's lives that she was a part of. She will be deeply missed by all.
